    bigticket: That is very interesting cuz lots of the NCB got froze before black layer. When that happens moisture in the kernel can no longer translocate back to the plant during drydown.

      Around here,the frost affected later maturing beans,but didn't seem to cause much damage to the corn. You can still find some green leaves on the corn when you get inside a few fields.
