    Drought Creep

    I've heard several of you comment on other threads that it's been a good 3 weeks or more without rain. The drought monitor is definitely picking up that growing "drought creep" as it has been slowly expanding.

    Oh yea, drought creep. We could use a shot of rain in my area. Good thing we got 70+ inches in May and June or we would we be in pretty rough shape. The lighter ground is fried, as usual.

    Yeah, N. MO got a good soak last night. I think there's more up for this weekend, too.

    looks like this system went further south than forcasted,looks like the driest areas were missed again.

    we missed again, now starting on the 5th week without rain. We had good moisture from last week of may to the 4th of july. Dang dry 5 months before and 5 weeks after that. To busy to cut hay last week and have some alfalfa at full bloom, will knock it down tomorrow in a last ditch effort to make it rain. boys are also washing all the pickups today.
