Here we are sore but slowly getting more active .He's on valium and oxycotin ??? which made him feel better but kinda silly .I had a hard time not laughing yesterday when I talked to him.It will be a slow process for him to be 100 % ,but when I was unloading the combine shortly before dusk he was driving by to see how things were going.
My 2 nieces, one a doctor and one a pharmacist both called my mom yesterday and told her to get him away from those meds he was using. They both said at his age he didn't want to become an addict and that they were way too powerful in combo for someone his age.
He is still in pain and not out telling me what I'm doing wrong but hopefully the next few days will see some improvement.
Verb and Natty, I pray for a speedy and complete recovery for your fathers.
That valium can erase any cares of even the highest strung farm operator. Great to get someone to relax and heal. Not so great if reality is important. After taking valium due to a back injury my father later joked that he would like to try some when he was feelin' good. My father seems pretty sensitive to drugs.
