As a Canuck from the outside looking in, I just marvel at that episode at Walmart where the throng of government teat suckers were revolting and fear mongering Walmart executives to honor there food stamp cards stampeding the aisle ways like a herd of buffalo cleaning off the shelves when they heard that they would honor the cards and take the hit, even though the system was down.
This is the symbolic and the very heart of what liberalism is all about. Create a system of lazy pathetic welfare recipients that are incumbent upon government handouts and control there fruitless destiny of serfdom, and have them revolt when Obama's father's anti colonial way has a hiccup in the system. That's some scary chit when the herd's mettle gets tested. Thank you Obama for your father's anti colonial dream slowly coming into fruition. Spend America down the drain and take all of the following ignorant sheeple, Brets and the Rons with you.He is the most dangerous man in history to ever govern and castigate the USA at any cost.Any other liberal would have been much better and less of a threat to dismantle the country.America went from a dangerous and stupid man of GW, to an articulate, conniving, deceitful, and much more dangerous man in Obuma.Roll those two dice together and you come up with snake eyes.

You consider 17 trillion in national debt, nominal? Inflation adjusted terms? Is that your only hope and salvation for getting us out of this mess? Besides inflation downsizing our debt, could you possibly see other implications with high inflation to solve your debt problems?
Bill, the national debt was 2 1/2 times the national GDP at the conclusion of WW II - We are now still working our way out of a worldwide economic meltdown caused mostly by an out of control speculative binge - you have posted data Bill that showed the collapse in revenue from its high point pre-crash - further, inflation is nearly flat - so says the Federal reserve and the data. Using terminology like inflation adjusted must throw you for a loop, but the economy is much bigger now than it was during past time frames so you do neeed to adjust data and that is done using an inflation adjusted currency. Nowhere did I suggest inflating our way out of the current fiscal situation. That said, you did not answer a couple of questions. You state that you support the war on terror. Did that end at the conclusion of the presidency of George W Bush or have we continued to spend hundreds of billions of dollars annually to fight that war. And if our country is in the pickle you suggest, why hasn't the equity (and debt) markets not collapsed. Put another way, why have investors continued to invest in US markets if we are headed to hell in a handbasket as you seem to suggest.
This two-sided assault can get confusing. For simplicity sake, from now on I will refer to you both as "Barely".
Thank you for understanding.
Bill...much disappointment with this post...you seem to be morphing into GP....he always used this ploy of giving childish pet names to people that he was having trouble discussing issues with...you are better than this Bill...so sorry you feel you are being "tag teamed"...did you ever see myself cryin bout that when much opposition came with every one of my postings from day one...I wonder if it gives you the self affermation that you need after slaving so much harder than the rest of us running your 24 hr farm...just a hint...we all do it...we love it as far as I know and dont brag of our hard work...its a given...so for your grade school name calling...go ahead Bill...it only diminishes your conversation skills...I am affected by them in no way...remember this is a hobby for me...but if it gets you thru the day by all means blurt them ill thought out pet names all you want...
