As the title states I've fall strip tilled at 11" sweet corn stubble and rye residue. Rye was killed when about 6" high last fall. We will be planting seed corn on this ground so a great start to emergence is our goal. 30" rows. Cleaning some debris and a darker colored soil is the goal. 100% irrigated. Loamy sand soil.

We will be busy strip tilling fields after angled manure injection on 22" rows. Also spring strip tilling with an Orthman 1stRpR on some more seed corn ground.

So I was thinking we could have a fairly quick light touch operation on these fall created strips. I do have several tool bar options including a 1500 8 row 30" folding Orthman bar. A 12 row 30" bar is also in play.

Has anyone else had luck freshing tthe rows. A 2 or 3 coulter system. Spiked row cleaners. A combo of the above.
