Yes, ses. That fine gentleman was in the news this morning. Most news reports don't include the comment that he was officially dead twice from his injuries. The military surgeons brought him back each time.
War happens. Always will. The US should use the "what's in it for us?" criteria when deciding to go in, then release the whole can of whoopazz, win it and get out. No rebuilding, let the local creeps figure it out and this would teach everyone not to muck with USA. Okay, we got into Afcrapistan because the Taliban refused to give up bin Laden and his cronies as we demanded. The Taliban got booted from power and we killed Islamic radicals by the 1,000s in the advantage-geography of Iraq. Afcrapistan is no geography to fight a war in. Ask the Brits and Russians. The troop escalation in 2009 was the exact wrong response. We should have pulled out then and saved our folks from maiming and death. Obviously we're not going to be reattaching all the arms and legs blown off in a useless war.
There are other nations nearby where we could set up those 5 drone bases we're going to maintain in obamaNam. And I'm not comfortable with this POTUS having judge-jury-executioner by drone power. That can and will be abused.
