Hopefully the Dems listen to Clinton. Something needs to be done to close the gun show loop hole and fix back round checks. The nasty talk, misinformation and lies is incredible. Turns out there are a lot of nuts with guns and without guns.

The NRA could drive someone to create an alternative the way they are proceeding. Suppose we don't get anything basic done like closing the gun show loop hole and there is another massacre at a school. An alternative to the NRA with say 20 million angry people belonging to an anti gun lobby at $20 a pop. That A rating from the NRA wouldn't look so good when they are getting outspent 20 to 1. We just got our new democratic state senator confirmed last week. She won by 18 votes after multiple recounts. 2 weeks before the election she was way behind in a new district just drawn up for a republican incumbent. $500,000 was spent on her behalf by a campaign finance reform group and she went from last to first as they say.

This adm is blaming the guns for what went wrong in the CT shooting. It is not about guns--it is about the mental illness that the gov't does not address. The shooter in this shooting was mentally ill--if there would have been safeguards put up with this family--he would not have done this deed.
The following article is posted in regard to this issue. If CT would have passed the law to get the mentally ill off the streets--this individual would not have committed this crime.

I have gone to a no. of gun shows and have bought a lot of guns, Have also sold some. There has always been a background check done even if I just had one 10 minutes before. That is not a valid complaint.
