denise: You are going to lose all credibility pushing cover crops sucking the subsoil moisture dry in the desert of W KS. How much rain does Salina...C KS...get???? How much do you get? But, Salina does have good t i t t y bars. lol.

then....................
so,
If I don't know js about irrigation, wtf is the reason for all the acres that used to be nothing but buffalo grass now under
a circle...I do remember that part of the changes in that part of the country...wasn't to grow kochia for stalkers...
When the arrogant fkrs find out how to grow a crop with out going to the switch box, then progress will be made...so
far, you are behind...

denise: You just ramble on about nothing. It would be safe to azzume that iadave is in high rainfall IA. We were talking about weeds before and after glyphos...high rainfall IA...irrigated W KS. I don't know of a single circle that was put up on native buffalo grass. First, we had FLOOD on prime dryland cultivated acres...then sprinklers. What's the relevance of "kochia for stalkers" to sprinklers? Why are irrigators arrogant fkrs??? Every irrigator I know has MORE dryland than you do...and they grow better dryland crops than you do...even tho they get less rain than you do. Soooooo....I would say that you are the one who is behind my friend.

Typical BLOW from, yep you named it right..LMAO...oh chit, gotta get back up in the chair...so now it comes to who
has the Mostest" biggest anything to know anything about corn on corn, or even better,,,,cover crops. Well, by USDA,
and "other" records, you must NOT be the expert you suggest, if size has anything to do with attempting to do something
better...oh yes, rambling, about nothing.
READ what some others from western Kansas have to say...makes it look like you missed the boat.

Hey 48, you always talk about the great yields coming off of the irrigated ground around your area. Just curious, how many high gallon systems do you own?

Thursday, January 31, 2013
Bicentennial Center, Salina, Kansas
To register for this event, go to our Registration page.
The Agriculture's Innovative Minds (AIM) Symposium will examine the theme "The Use of Biological Primers to Advance Soil Health" and feature research scientists Dr. Jill Clapperton and Dr. Ademir Calegari, along with research entomologist Dr. Jonathan Lundgren and other invited guests who will address the synergies and interaction of biological primers (cover crops) between plant species, soil microbes, nutrients, and the insect world.
Attendees will gain perspective on the water and nutrient use and efficiency within the system. Valuable insight will be gained on timing of termination of these primers in their systems. Attendees certainly will not want to miss this dynamic opportunity to learn directly from those on the cutting edge of this technology!
