What are you smoking HBell? Nobody inflated the housing bubble so the banks could unload the sh1t in their vaults. The banks DID unload ALL of the sh1t in their vaults as all of the bad paper has been rammed up the taxpayer's a$$ already....and in addition to buying up all the worthless bankster assets, they were given Gazillions of dollars of free money which they then loaned back to the Fed. Everyone on here is pretty much ignoring TEOTWAWKI subject these days and most have laughed it off as a joke, but we're way past the danger zone. Drain all the coolant out of your best tractor and then go hook it up to the biggest implement in the shed, and run it at the highest speed possible. Then, sit there and watch the temperature guage and all the warning lights going off, and tell yourself everything is ok....give it a little more throttle to fix the obvious problem. The ONLY thing any politician of either party cares about is holding onto their office, power, money, and THE PROTECTION FROM THE MASSES THEY HAVE BEEN PILLAGING. Armed guards, gated communities, secret service protection, ..... Think you summed it up pretty well Db. 4 years post TARP and not a single prosecution and the government is still buying up bad loans through freddie/fannie with the fed keeping them primed. We are talking about a "fiscal cliff" deal where we add 62 billion in new revenue against a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit. $42 in new taxes for every $1 in spend "cuts". And now Obama says this is just the beginning, we have to move forward adding new revenue in balance with new cuts. WTH???
