What is the right way to go?

I am like most in the idea that i sure like to support small business and i sure hate seeing my money go to Walmart. I do have a problem. I sometimes shop at the local Sun Fresh market in the small town i work near. A can of soup i priced at the Sun Fresh sells for $.81 cents more than at Walmart. These store owners are very nice But out in public the don't acknowledge they have ever seen me before. They have a very nice 80 acres Estate and the house is surely at least 500k.
I don't see that i am turning my back on this size of a small business. I don't knock them at all for being successful and having a nice place. I am illustrating that they might be struggling but not that much by the lifestyle they have.
    Two sides to every story.

I , too, do not care to go to walmart. Yesterday my wife asked me to stop at the local independent grocery and pick up some cranberry jello that she had to have for a certain recipe. They did not have it. I tried to convince my wife that raspberry ,or strawberry, would work, but my compulsive wife said" no, go to walmart'. I did and they had it for 20 cents less than the local independent that I really like to support. They do not live on a $1/2 million estate because the local employees bought the store. I want to support them. Anyhow, I went to walmart, and saw some of the walmartians, Amazing????
