Be prepared, bromegrass seed is up an added $100 per 50 lb bag for 2013. Apparently the drought queered bromegrass and wheatgrass production in 2012. Meanwhile retards waste resources growing pot.

Glow, I received my 2012 copy of U of WISC. variety test results. Any useful info in there for the Wet Coast?

WI and WA are different climates. Maybe some stuff is relevant as far as the grass variety performances?

As to the WI corn trials, it is two 25 ft. rows planted at 40,000 then hand thinned down to 36,000. Hello, in the real world does anyone do this? So a poor seedling vigor variety is masked by this method. I prefer the FIRST Trials. We all should keep in mind that in a severe drought year, 2012 results really don't mean a lot. Go back to 2011, 2010, where results during a "normal" growing season are more relevant.
