Congrats to ECI. IND=No. 1
48=KU=No.7
DR=WI=No. 23
Condolences to mfsman and GB:
"• The preseason rankings most likely to miss the NCAA tournament are No. 17 and No. 24, both of which have failed to land a bid eight times since the event expanded to 64 teams in 1986. No. 17 in this year's poll? Memphis. No. 24? Cincinnati."

I'm excited for another season! This one looks to be great with tons of compelling story lines and matchups on the radar. I like how in basketball the top teams aren't afraid to play each other because a loss or two doesn't hurt you and makes you a better team by playing superior competition.

ECI,
The state East of you had 25% of the Sweet 16(My City composed an eighth of it btw) and the one to the South had half of the Final 4 and (unfortunately) the Natl Champ, so........
One thing is for sure we are in the middle of it ECI, from where I sit(and you) the entire preseason top 5 and 8 of the top 25 teams are within a 3 hour drive. Hoops heaven is in our back yard. The WSJ did a piece on the area before the Sweet 16 last year, about how good the hoops are and how everyone loves their school and hates everyone else. Wish I had saved it.
***Edit: I would have to avg 80 to make it to Ann Arbor in 3 hours but you get the point.Last edited by Grainbelt2; 10-28-2012 at 11:17 AM.
