Just as well. This $8.00 wheat , just happens once in a blue moon. I have 10,000 bushels in storage and do not know when to sell.Traditionaly will sell either around Christmas , or in the spring before harvest. However we have to monitor the southern hemisphere. If they plant wheat wall to wall , the price will fall like a rocket. It depends on usage in the next few months.

I would sell by the end of the year... but that's me. Full disclosure... I fed about half of mine and sold the rest in September. With how things are going for wheat elsewhere and all the acres being planted I don't see it going up much. Interesting thing about wheat is it is harvested every single month somewhere in the world... so at least there are always reports of how the harvest or planting is going.

Here I thought it would be wall to wall...but not so...at least not yet. It is too wet to feel comfortable planting, for me...and I think many others feel the same.Neighbor said better to plant late then wet,and he does a great job growing 100plus year after year.

For the most part wheat planting is done here and looking good. W e have also started selling the 2013 crop and sold out 2012. I have a problem storing wheat at these prices. We did have 3.25 in. of rain over the weekend.
