Thread: The Real Obama Exposed

I thought Romney did well and Obama missed several "THERE YOU GO AGAIN" moments when Romney dismissed the lack of details in how he would cut the deficit. The only specific Romney named the whole night was firing Big Bird (NPR) which doesn't even account for 1/100th of 1% of the fed budget.
Because of Obama's lack of fighting back I give Romney the win for last night.

Obama performed terribly. He made all of the mistakes you shouldn't make while debating. From a presentation angle... he looked down- not at his opponent- while not talking, he shifted back and forth on his feet, he smirked and scowled a number of times and from a mode of operation angle he was always on the defensive. You don't win debates by defending... defense never wins. If you are defending you lose. Seldom did he even have a solid defense that would allow him to turn onto the offensive. If this were a debate team happening Romney would have trounced Obama for final standing at the end of the evening.

Bins, PBS gets around 10% of it's "non-profit corporation" budget from the taxpayers. The revenue potential alone from Sesame St. licensed products could easily make up that amount, plus more.
There was a time when TV was limited to ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS off the antenna. There was a time when students used slide rules in Algebra classes. The hand held calculator made slide rules obsolete. Cable and satellite tv made the limits of having only 4 tv networks obsolete. PBS can stand on its own without a taxpayer subsidy, (borrowed money from the ChiComs, etc).
Mitt is a successful businessman and we need to apply sound business principles to stream lining our govt. Failbummer never had the resume qualifying for national CEO. And as he has nearly every day of the last four years he showed himself to be woefully unprepared for the presidency.

PBS no longer exists in the world of decades ago where we were limited to 3 major networks, Bins.
No need to further fund them. Let them survive on their own merits.
Slide rules are no longer manditory in high school math, we've moved on to calculators. Wean PBS from the taxpayer nipple.
