SES, you're referring to EASTERN Wash., the Columbia River basin, which is officially a desert, but they have the water AND the heat. Those boys will chop 40+ ton/acre consistently, but that would be 110+ day corn. An interesting aside on that...they grow more fodder, but the starch/acre isn't any more than here.
