well, you aren't by yourself in throwing the towel in, gads, my neighbor hung himself 3 years ago, won't ever really know whether it was farm related.
Its been a tough few decades in farming and its about time the golden slipper is on the farmers foot. I don't feel guilty as we have been the societal dumpster for so long. My dad is 84 and still drives tractor for me and can still take the **** I dole out to him, it keeps him sharp so to speak.lol
    Well, gotta run later...good talking

Hi Tom, I so glad you are back posting. You are one of the best on here and especially with the markets.

Tom, I guess no body told you. But back when things were like the worst ever in farming and I'd been hailed totally out 2 out 3 years. My dad screamed into my face that I was ruining his life. I was totally devastated and turned all my acres I rented from him back to him. I then rented out my land and became a carpenter. Since then it has not hailed and it has been like paradise around here for the most part. I think the farmers should give me a kick back for all the great weather they are getting since I rented my ground out. ha ha

So I had a guy tell me if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any luck. I said to him that's not true since I've started carpentry everything falls perfectly into place like it was meant to be. I even amaze myself how the last piece fits on almost every job.

I hope you have continued success.

Ha, you go fishing to get away from the stresses of mother nature. Got to love that. Who taught you to fish?

Good on you with the weather, I've had two tornado's in the area this year, twisted wreckage in my seed corn, could not cut male out, thankful the female is RR for next year so they went in and RR down the male which isn't RR, so hopefully can get the crop off without any contamination, damned , if it ain't one thing , its another in farming. It's no wonder I go walleye fishing on my aqua harvester on Erie so much, to get away from the stresses of mother nature. lol

Tom In Ont, Things are going good. We have caught very timely rain by far the best in the history of this area in the last 2 years. For seven previous years we could not raise a dry land crop but, last two have been like irrigated. The guys I've been doing carpentry for are mostly farmers so this weather has been good to me.

Thanks for asking. Hope all is well for you and your family.
