No alternatives. So I got to thinking, there's gonna be about ten thousand people watching plus lots of cameras going and I'm supposed to do the right thing and fall out of the saddle and die. I'm pretty sure I can fall out of the saddle OK. In fact I expect to be among the first to fall out of the saddle, that's how good I am. What I'm really worried about is dieing. I'm thinking get an arrow shaft, hold it to my chest with my right hand, wave my left arm around like Fred Sanford, stagger around some and whine, "I'm a comin' Elizabeth! I'm a comin!'".

Next, I'm thinking maybe just fall in a heap with my butt in the air and an arrow sticking out of my azz.

Or.....get really creative. I'm thinking get another jacket and glue about 600 arrow shafts to it. Figger out a way to roll it up in a saddle blanket and tie it behind the saddle. Then ride out to the middle of the battle, yell "Come and get you me you yellow bellied red skins!" Or something like that. I will soon be surrounded by every Indian there shooting arrows at me. While shielded from the cameras and crowd by the circling Indians I don the coat of arrows with 600 arrows sticking out and watch the Indians ride off to slay some other helpless sap. Down side is there will be so many arrows sticking out I won't be able to fall down. Probably couldn't stand back up after I fell over either. Like a turtle on his back. Then you have those dang Indian wimmins coming out to strip you naked. Bad Idea.

Anyways I need some suggestions on how I'm gonna die. ... Heat bursts... a rare phenomenon... occurred across portions of south
central Nebraska this morning...

Heat bursts created rapid rises in temperature... rapid decreases
in dewpoint... as well as strong wind gusts... across portions of
south central Nebraska early this morning. Below are temperature
readings and dewpoint readings... both before and during or after a
heat burst... as recorded across south central Nebraska...

What is a heat burst?

A heat burst is caused when a shower or thunderstorm weakens over
a layer of dry air. As the last of the precipitation from the
weakening shower or thunderstorm falls through the layer of dry
air... the precipitation begins evaporating thus causing the air to
cool. As this air cools it will become more dense... eventually
more dense when compared to the surrounding warmer air and as a
result... begins descending to the surface at a high rate of speed.
Eventually... all of the precipitation within the descending air
evaporates. At this point the air is completely dry and because no
more evaporation can occur... the air can no longer cool. The air
however continues to descend toward the surface due to the
momentum it has already acquired. As dry air descends through the
atmosphere... compression due to increasing atmospheric pressure
causes the the air to warm. It is important to note that the
density of this air is now going to begin decreasing because of
the increasing temperature. However... because the descending air
already has a great deal of momentum carrying it to the
surface... the increase in temperature and resultant decrease in
density does little to slow the descending air. So... the dry air
continues to descend... all the while warming more and more due to
the aforementioned compressional heating. Eventually... this
descending air reaches the surface and the momentum... which was
moving downward towards the surface... is now moving horizontally
along the surface in all different directions... thus resulting in
a strong wind! In addition... the intrusion of the very warm and
very dry airmass from aloft... will cause the temperature at the
surface to increase very quickly... and the dewpoint at the surface
to decrease very quickly. Acquiring all the needed ingredients for
a heat burst can be difficult... thus making the development and

Things like the cistern lids getting stolen was no big surprise. 2 things happened though that did.
1. Some one stole the TUBE out of the drive way. Way to much work for what it was worth I am sure.
2. The government is stealing 7% of what the cleanup is worth in taxes!
I don't know which is worse. Oh, and this little gal hasn't figured out she is way too good for me yet. Lol. It helps that she doesn't speak English, so no one who knows me in the states can tell her about me. I hate Bogota, but go see her whenever she is doing calendar/beer/cigarette beach stuff. Pacifico in Cabo last week. Corona in Puerto Vallarta in two weeks, then Presidente and Brahma in the DR in one month. Life is good!!!
